Initial Consultation:
I offer a free 15 minute consultation to make certain that I am the right fit for you and your immediate needs. This is a time for us to build rapport which is vital to the therapeutic relationship. I try to respond to all messages and voicemails left for me as I understand how difficult it is to reach out. If my practice is full or your needs are out of my purview I will still try to respond and help guide you, if possible, to someone who can help.
New Clients:
By using the button to the right you can schedule your first appointment. I will email you an invitation to create an account on the client portal. Prior to your first appointment please log in to the client portal to complete your profile, demographic information, billing information, and intake forms. Creating your account will take about 15 minutes and will save us time in our session to better focus on your immediate needs. Please be aware that completion of the client portal is required prior to our meeting so if you have any questions or problems accessing the portal or completing this process please contact me prior to our first appointment.
Cancellation Policy:
The time scheduled for your appointment is assigned to you and you alone. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, we ask that you provide us with 24 hours notice. If you miss a session without canceling, or cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you will be required to pay for the session [unless we both agree that you were unable to attend due to circumstances beyond your control]. It is important to note that insurance companies do not provide reimbursement for cancelled sessions; thus, you will be responsible for the session fee.
In addition, you are responsible for coming to your session on time. If you are late, your appointment will still need to end at the regularly scheduled time and the charge will be for the full amount of the session fee.
